Today we have covered 11th Village in Gujarat through our “Menstrual Education for all” drive. In partnership with Utkarsh we have provided menstrual education to girls and women in these villages and have also distributed Gujarati Menstrupedia Comic books to the school girls. Although our workshops on periods last for 2 hours, the books that we leave with them continue to educate the girls, their family members and their friends. That’s how we ensure that the impact continues to multiply. In 6 of these villages we have also distributed sanitary pads and have installed incinerators for proper disposal of sanitary pads.
